Youth Futures has been supporting young people across WA for over forty years. In that time, we’ve learned that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to education, and that the young people who struggle most in mainstream settings often thrive when they’re given the right environment and the right support.

Our Midland & Albany schools also offers a dedicated Middle School program for students in Years 8 and 9. Based on a modified Western Australian curriculum, the program develops literacy and numeracy skills through engaging, real-world learning, embedding core subjects including Science, HASS, and Health into project-based activities that connect to everyday life.
It’s education that feels relevant, accessible, and built around the needs of younger students who are ready to re-engage with learning in a supportive environment.
Focuses on developing learning goals and foundational literacy and numeracy skills for familiar, everyday situations. A great starting point for students re-engaging with education.
Builds literacy skills for familiar and less familiar contexts, alongside numeracy skills for practical application. Ideal for students ready to develop their learning beyond the introductory level.
Extends literacy and numeracy skills into more complex and less familiar situations, including oral and written communication. A strong foundation for further study or training.
Develops advanced literacy and numeracy skills including analysis and synthesis in specialised contexts. Our most advanced general education qualification.
Develops the practical skills needed for entry-level business services roles, including self-management, technology, and operational tasks. Designed for students preparing to enter the workforce.
Alongside their Certificate studies, Year 11 and 12 students can access a range of industry-relevant short courses and training opportunities through our FutureReady program.
